Where are Q for Quinn socks made?
Our socks are made in Portugal and Sri Lanka. Every pair is made in a facility that is OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified, which means they are free of harmful chemicals - right down to the very last thread.
What is the composition of the socks?
Our socks are made from either 90% GOTS certified organic cotton, 18% Polyamide or 2% Spandex and others from 80% GOTS certified organic cotton, 8% Polyamide or 2% Spandex.

Why not 100% cotton?

You always need spandex for stretch and to hold the socks up (otherwise they would fall). Polyamide is used for strength and stretch. It is rare to find 100% or even 98% cotton as these tend to shrink a lot more in the wash and don't have the strength to last wear. If your concern is whether our socks are suitable for sensitive feet, read this article of ours here!

How much does shipping cost?

  • Flat rate shipping to Canada: C$9.50 - 2 to 8 business days
  • Flat rate shipping to USA: US$7.50 - 2 to 8 business days
  • Flat rate international Shipping: US$10 - 5 to 10 business days
  • Shipping is FREE on all orders over $50

Because of the nature of our products and packaging (not always flat) we don't have the option of regular / media mail. Regular mail is also untracked and takes 2 times longer to reach our customers. We pay out of pocket for the incremental shipping costs so that we can offer a competitive flat rate to you!

How long will it take to receive my order?
    Canada: 2-8 business days.
    US: 2-8 business days.
International orders will be received within 5-10 business days (DHL).

How should I care for the socks?

Socks are best kept out of the dryer (if possible) but we know as busy moms that’s probably NOT going to happen. We recommend washing our socks at or below 30°C (cool/luke warm wash) to maximize longevity.

Can I return or exchange my purchase?

If you are unhappy with your purchase, please email us at hello@qforquinn.com. We are deeply proud of our products and want to make sure we are doing everything we can to see you happy!

Do you offer wholesale or bulk purchase pricing?

Yes we do! Please visit our wholesale page here or our bulk gifts page here. If you have specific questions, please feel free to reach out to us at hello@qforquinn.com.

Why should you buy certified organic socks for your baby, toddler or kid?

Buying organic cotton socks or clothing goes beyond caring for our environment. The amount of toxins in children’s clothing is astonishing. Take socks for example, a recent study found 9/10 socks had traces of BPA and Parabens – chemicals that are hormone disruptors and have been linked to variously illnesses. By buying certified organic you are purchasing socks that have been tested free of any harmful toxins or chemicals at every stage of the production process.

What does GOTS certified organic cotton and how is it different from regular organic cotton?

The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibres, backed up by independent certification of the entire textile supply chain. It is essentially the “gold” standard of organic cotton. You can read more about the certification here

Eczema in baby’s feet? What causes eczema for babies and kids and how is it related to the socks they wear?

Irritation from sweat, from socks, and friction is a major cause for foot eczema. What can you do? Make sure the socks are of a high cotton content and breathable. Besides the socks, it is also important to make sure the shoes your baby wears is breathable. It is also good practice to change babies and kids socks often especially if they are in their socks and shoes all day every day.

Are our socks suitable for babies / kids with eczema?

While we cannot claim or guarantee that our socks will be 100% suitable for babies and kids with eczema we have a number of customers whose babies and kids suffer from eczema and have had no issues or flare ups with our socks. In fact, our founder, Melita’s son suffered from severe eczema and reactions to certain socks in the market. This encouraged Melita to create socks that were 100% breathable and with the maximum organic cotton content to avoid moisture being trapped in – the leading cause of foot eczema in babies, kids and adults.

Thank you Helen for the feedback! We have sent you an email, Our Mystery boxes are priced the way they are to take into account that there may not always be a variety of styles. However we hate to disappoint our customers and will make this clearer or change the concept of our box so we still maintain the high level of satisfaction our customers have! Thank you again!

    WON'T GIVE YOU CANCER :)
Thank you so much for this detailed feedback and for identifying the many ways conventional cotton and processing can be harmful not only for us but also for our communities and our planet. We are very conscious about our products because we put them on our own children and know and care for the workers that make them (I grew up in Sri Lanka where we do some of our production). We will keep doing our part to help educate and support the use of more gentle materials - this is still in its infancy and so we love seeing that some of our consumers are already very educated on the subject. Thank you so much again, Melita
