Code of Conduct
At Q for Quinn, we believe that what touches your skin should be clean—free from toxins, harm, and unethical practices. This belief extends far beyond our products to the people and processes that make them. As a brand founded on transparency, responsibility, and care, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of social and environmental ethics throughout our supply chain.
All our manufacturing partners in Portugal and India are carefully selected to align with our values. As a GOTS-certified brand, every link in our supply chain is regularly audited to ensure compliance with rigorous environmental and social criteria.
The following principles define our code of conduct and guide every decision we make:
-
Employment is freely chosen
Forced, bonded, or involuntary prison labour is strictly prohibited. Workers are free to organize and negotiate collectively without fear of retaliation. -
Working conditions are safe and hygienic
All factories and facilities we work with provide a safe, clean, and heathy environment, in full compliance with GOTS and local safety regulations. -
Child labor is never used
We do not—and will never—engage in or support the use of child labour. We work with partners who uphold international standards on minimum working age. -
Living wages are paid
All workers in our supply chain, including those at partner facilities in Portugal and India, are paid a verified living wage—not just minimum wage. We audit this regularly and support our partners in maintaining this commitment. -
Working hours are fair and humane
Hours of work comply with applicable laws and collective agreements. Overtime is voluntary, compensated fairly, and not excessive. -
There is no discrimination
Employment decisions are made solely based on ability and qualifications. Discrimination of any kind—including based on race, gender, caste, religion, age, disability, or sexual orientation—is strictly prohibited. -
Employment is stable and regularly scheduled
Workers are provided with formal employment agreements and reliable hours. Precarious or informal labour is not permitted. -
No harassment or abuse is tolerated
Physical abuse, threat of violence, harassment, or any form of inhumane treatment is never acceptable. -
Certified and traceable supply chain
All suppliers are GOTS-certified and can trace raw materials back to their origin—whether that’s organic cotton farms in India or ethically sourced Merino wool in New Zealand. -
Environmentally responsible processes
We work exclusively with partners that follow strict environmental protocols, including responsible water usage, waste management, and chemical safety, aligned with GOTS and/or Bluesign™ standards. -
Only low-impact, safe dyes are used
All dyes used in our products are azo-free and meet GOTS safety criteria. These are not only better for our planet but also the workers in our supply chain. We offer undyed and plant-dyed options for those with sensitive skin. -
Commitment to continuous improvement
We regularly review our practices to improve worker welfare, reduce our environmental impact, and remain transparent with our customers about where and how their garments are made.
At Q for Quinn, ethics are not an afterthought—they are embedded in every decision, product, and partnership. We are constantly learning and evolving, guided by our mission to create garments that are good for people and the planet
