Experience the perfect blend of nature's artistry and everyday luxury with this two pair thong underwear set. Each pair is thoughtfully dyed using centuries-old botanical traditions from India:
Madder Root (Dark Nude) - Renowned for its rich, earthy crimson hues that deepen beautifully with time. This sacred root has adorned royal garments since ancient times, prized for both its vibrant color and natural skin-soothing properties.
Acacia Catechu (Lilac) - Creates our signature warm amber tones, extracted from the heartwood of this magnificent tree. Acacia dyes have been treasured in Ayurvedic traditions for their gentle touch and natural antibacterial qualities.
As these are naturally dyed, each pair and production batch will have variations in color and consistency. They may also be different to those pictured here.
Ethically made in India.
Fabric: 95% organic cotton and 5% elastane for the perfect stretch and fit.
Natural, plant dyes (or dye free options) — Our natural dyes are drawn from roots, seeds, and rinds that have colored cloth and healed bodies for centuries. Each plant offers not just its pigment, but its spirit — connecting us to the earth with every thread.
Care: For longer-lasting results, wash cold and lay flat. ← Too busy for all that? We got you. Just wash cold and tumble dry on low heat.
Trims: Thread around seams: mix of organic cotton and recycled OEKO-TEX Standard 100 polyester thread for reinforcements. Elastics: OEKO-Tex Standard 100 polyester-elastane blend.
Item Packaging & Labeling: 100% Compostable Cotton Care Label & Outside Paper Packaging.
Each natural dye we use is more than color — it’s a story of place, purpose, and care. From resilient roots to vibrant fruits, these plants infuse our garments with history, healing, and hues only nature can create.
Rubia cordifolia (Indian Madder / Manjistha)
Native to the Himalayan foothills and tropical India, Rubia cordifolia thrives in rocky, challenging soils. Its harvest demands careful handling to preserve its vibrant pigments. Beyond its role as a dye, Manjistha is celebrated in Ayurveda for promoting skin health and balancing the body's energies, infusing every garment with a quiet vitality.
Madder Root
Whether sourced from European or Asian varieties, madder root needs time, care, and rich soil to flourish. Digging up the mature roots without damaging their precious color content is an art in itself. Used historically to soothe inflammation and support detoxification, madder root offers more than color — it offers the essence of ancient healing.
Acacia catechu (Cutch Tree)
Found across South and Southeast Asia, the Cutch tree demands hot, arid conditions to grow strong. Extracting its rich dye from the heartwood is labor-intensive, requiring slow boiling and careful concentration. Traditionally used in herbal medicine for its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, Acacia catechu brings a grounding strength to fabric and wearer alike.
Pomegranate Extract (Punica granatum)
Thriving in dry, sun-drenched regions like India, Iran, and the Mediterranean, pomegranate trees produce fruit rich in tannins — vital for strong, lasting dyes. Gathering and processing the thick rinds by hand can be painstaking but rewards with soft, earthy tones. Pomegranate is revered for its antioxidant power, symbolizing vitality, longevity, and renewal in every fiber it touches.
Bixa orellana (Annatto Seed)
Native to tropical South America and Asia. Bixa orellana produces vivid, fiery seeds protected inside spiny pods. Harvesting these seeds requires careful timing to avoid loss of potency. Traditionally used to soothe the skin and protect it from the sun, annatto infuses garments with a natural brilliance and a legacy of protection and warmth.

“Why do I have to pay for shipping? I’m used to getting free shipping!”
While we offer $8.5 USD / $9.95 CAD shipping on orders under a certain amount, it REALLY costs us closer to $12 USD on average to ship within North America. We know it sounds crazy — but we pay the difference out of pocket so that we can offer the best flat rate to you!
It’s tough being a small retailer (we are just 3 women!) up against the “free shipping movement” of our bigger competitors. But we’re doing our best, and we’re grateful for your understanding. 💙
We want you to be 100% happy with your purchase! If you’re not, please get in touch with us here or send an email to hello@qforquinn.com. We’ll do our best to make it right.
Before purchasing, please check our size chart. Returns and exchanges are costly for our small business and the planet.
