100% Organic Cotton Women’s Underwear and Blends

At Q for Quinn, we believe what you wear closest to your skin matters, which is why we make women’s underwear with soft, breathable, organic cotton. Our collection includes styles made with 100% organic cotton, certified by GOTS, for a soft, breathable feel without unnecessary synthetics.

For those looking for an even simpler option, select styles are completely plastic-free and biodegradable, made with organic cotton thread and natural rubber-cotton elastic instead of synthetic trims. We also offer plant-dyed and dye-free options, thoughtfully made with sensitive skin in mind.

Every pair is ethically made in India or Portugal, with a fully traceable supply chain from cotton farm to finished garment. Thoughtfully chosen materials and underwear you can feel good about wearing every day.

Benefits of Organic Cotton Certified by GOTS

GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) is the strictest organic certification for textiles, covering the entire supply chain, not just the cotton fibre. Here's what that means for the bras you wear every day:

    • No synthetic pesticides or fertilizers. Better for farmers, soil, and your skin.
    • No harsh chemicals. No chlorine bleach, formaldehyde, or azo dyes used in dyeing or finishing.
    • Hypoallergenic and breathable. Soft on sensitive skin, with airflow that synthetics can't match.
    • Ethically made. Fair labour standards enforced from farm to finished garment.

    Why Choose Organic Cotton Underwear?

"As a woman, I've always felt like underwear was the one thing we were expected to just deal with. Uncomfortable elastic, waistbands that dig in, fabrics that leave you feeling sticky by the end of the day. We're taught to blame our bodies, buy a smaller size, or just get used to it.

I never bought that. Underwear is worn against the most sensitive skin on a woman's body, all day, every day. It affects how we feel, how we move, how confident we feel. That's not something we should be settling on.

When I started Q for Quinn, underwear was one of the important pieces of clothing I knew I wanted to make clean. Not just organic cotton on the label, but organic cotton all the way through. Elastics you can trust. Dyes that won't irritate you. Fit that actually works for real women's bodies, not just the models on the packaging.

I still test every new style myself before it launches. If it doesn't feel like something I'd want to wear all day, we don't make it."

    Frequently Asked Questions

Helpful information before choosing the right underwear.

Why Switch to Organic Cotton Underwear?

Organic cotton underwear is a good choice for sensitive skin and everyday comfort because cotton is naturally breathable and helps reduce moisture buildup. Gynecologists and women’s health experts commonly recommend cotton underwear, particularly for people prone to irritation or recurrent yeast infections, since yeast and bacteria tend to thrive in warm, damp environments. Organic cotton offers the same breathable qualities while being produced without many of the pesticides and chemicals used in conventional cotton farming. While it cannot prevent or treat yeast infections or UTIs on its own, it can help create a drier, more comfortable environment than less breathable synthetic fabrics such as polyester or nylon.

Are all your underwear 100% organic cotton?

Not all of our underwear is 100% organic cotton. We offer both 100% organic cotton styles and 95% organic cotton styles blended with 5% elastane for added stretch.

What’s the best underwear to sleep in?

Breathable cotton underwear is one of the best choices for sleeping. Organic cotton is especially comfortable for overnight wear because it’s soft, breathable, and helps reduce moisture buildup while allowing airflow around sensitive skin. Choose a relaxed fit rather than tight styles for maximum comfort throughout the night.

Do organic cotton underwear stretch out or lose their shape?

Well-made organic cotton underwear holds its shape for years when cared for properly. Wash cold, avoid the dryer when possible, and skip fabric softeners. If anything, our 100% organic cotton pieces mold to your body over time rather than losing shape, because the natural fibres soften instead of degrading like synthetics do.

Will my organic cotton underwear shrink?

Slight shrinkage is normal after the first wash, especially in 100% cotton styles, because organic cotton hasn't been chemically treated to prevent it. To minimize shrinkage, wash cold and air dry when possible. Our sizing accounts for a small amount of expected shrinkage.

    Is your underwear latex free?

Yes, we offer a selection of latex-free underwear made with latex-free, OEKO-TEX certified polyester-elastane elastic. Since some of our newer styles use natural rubber-cotton elastic, which contains latex, not every Q for Quinn product is latex free. You can shop our complete latex-free clothing collection to find underwear and other styles made without latex.

    What's the First-Pair Guarantee?

Finding the right fit matters. That’s why your first pair of underwear or socks is covered by our First Pair Fit Guarantee.

If the fit isn’t right, contact us within 30 days of delivery and we’ll issue store credit for your first single pair. To make sure the rest of your order stays eligible for return or exchange, we recommend opening, washing, and trying one pair first before opening the others. Please note: Applies to one single pair (one style) only Bundles and multipacks are excluded. Store credit only (no refunds).

How should I wash my organic cotton underwear?

Machine wash cold on a delicate cycle with a mild detergent. Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, and hot dryers, which break down natural fibres and elastic over time. Air dry flat or hang when possible. With proper care, organic cotton underwear lasts longer than conventional pairs.
