80% organic cotton — Better for the planet, better for workers, and better for your family.
18% recycled polyester— All of our materials are approved by GOTS and pass strict requirements for the absence of any harmful chemicals. Some of our products now use recycled polyester to strengthen the sock.
2% elastane — For stretch and strength.
Non-toxic, azo-free dyes — Some azo dyes (also known as direct dyes) can break down and release chemicals called aromatic amines, some of which have been shown to cause cancer. We use only non-toxic, environment-safe dyes that have no risk of degrading and releasing harmful compounds.

Care: For longer-lasting socks, wash cold and lay flat. ← Too busy for all that? We got you. Just wash cold and tumble dry on low heat.

My daughter really likes these socks. At first she kind of complained about them slipping down a bit. I think when she moves around a lot they might stretch a bit. However, they don't fall off. Now she really prefers that are more natural and soft instead of more stretchy and synthetic.

Our toddler has eczema so we were looking for something gentle on her feet where she struggles the most at her ankles. Purchased a few options of 1-2y socks. Received package promptly. We wash and dry ours on low heat. They are soft and non-irritating to the skin. The grips on the bottom work well. I have no complaints with our purchase and plan to buy more pairs for our toddler.

Where are your socks made?

Our socks are made in a family owned, GOTS certified facility in Portugal.

Are all your socks seamless?

Yes, our socks have a flat toe seam that is barely felt. This is often referred to as "seamless". We have thousands of sensitive and sensory kids wearing our socks comfortably!

Are there any synthetics in Q for Quinn products?

At Q for Quinn, you will find basics with some of the highest composition of organic, GOTS-certified, natural materials in the world! However, we also understand that everyday living calls for basics that fit well and stand the test of time.

Some of our basics are made from 100% cotton, most are made with 95%+ natural materials, and a few contain a small amount of synthetics to improve comfort and durability. Some synthetics such as elastics are used for our waistband and cuffs. These are covered and GOTS approved inputs from trims.

The composition of our basics can be found in every product listing under “Fabric and Care.” You can also read more about our selective use of polyester below.

Cotton Patterned Socks

Some of our cotton patterned socks are GOTS-certified and made with 80% organic materials, but they do include some recycled polyester — which is key for strengthening socks with heavy graphic elements.

We are constantly working to increase the composition of natural, organic materials and hope to soon replace our bestselling patterns with a 98% cotton composition.

Merino Wool Socks

Since Merino wool is a very delicate yarn, our Merino wool socks are made with a small amount of recycled polyester. This helps to strengthen the socks and ensure they last for years to come.

As with all of our products, we are continually experimenting with new compositions to improve longevity and maximize the composition of natural fabrics. We use polyester and synthetics very selectively. When we do so, we ensure they are complaint with GOTS and OEKO-Tex Standards.
